These Terms & Conditions apply to:
- Every offer made through the Peptidera website
- Every order placed with Peptidera
- Every agreement concluded between Peptidera and a customer
- The use of the Peptidera website and related services
Before an order is placed, the customer is given the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that these Terms & Conditions have been read and accepted.
Any deviation from these Terms & Conditions is only valid when agreed in writing by Peptidera.
Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
3. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
- Peptidera means the online store operated by PKeps e-commerce.
- Customer means any natural person or legal entity placing an order.
- Consumer means a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
- Business customer means a person or organization acting for professional, commercial, laboratory or institutional purposes.
- Product means any research product, laboratory product or related item offered through the website.
- Agreement means the distance contract concluded between Peptidera and the customer.
4. Research Use Only
All research peptides and related laboratory products offered by Peptidera are supplied exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical and scientific research.
Products are not intended for:
- Human consumption
- Veterinary consumption
- Personal use
- Self-administration
- Diagnostic use
- Therapeutic use
- Medical treatment
- Prevention, cure or mitigation of disease
- Food, cosmetic or household use
Nothing on the website constitutes medical advice, a therapeutic recommendation or an instruction for human or veterinary use.
Product descriptions, certificates, research information and other website content are provided for identification, quality documentation and legitimate research purposes only.
5. Customer Eligibility and Responsibilities
By ordering a restricted research product, the customer confirms that:
- The customer is at least 18 years old.
- The information provided during checkout is complete and accurate.
- The product is being obtained exclusively for lawful research purposes.
- The customer has sufficient knowledge, facilities and procedures to handle, store and use the product safely.
- The customer will not use, administer, resell or promote the product for human or veterinary consumption.
- The purchase, possession, importation and use of the product are permitted under the laws applicable to the customer.
- The product will only be handled by appropriately qualified or authorized persons where required.
The customer is responsible for checking local laws and import requirements before ordering.
Peptidera may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify the customer, the intended research purpose, the delivery address or compliance with applicable law.
6. Offers and Product Availability
All offers on the website are subject to:
- Product availability
- Successful payment
- Verification and compliance checks
- Correction of obvious errors
- Acceptance of the order by Peptidera
Product images are intended to provide a reasonable representation. Packaging, labels, colours, batch numbers and minor visual details may differ without affecting the essential characteristics of the product.
An obvious typographical, pricing or technical error does not bind Peptidera when the customer knew or reasonably should have understood that an error had occurred.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Peptidera will contact the customer and offer:
- A suitable alternative, subject to the customer’s approval
- Delivery at a later agreed date
- Cancellation and reimbursement of the unavailable product
7. Formation of the Agreement
An order placed through the website constitutes an offer by the customer to purchase the selected products.
After the order is placed, the customer normally receives an automated order confirmation. This confirms that the order has been received but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted.
The agreement becomes final when Peptidera:
- Accepts and begins processing the order;
- Confirms that the order has been accepted; or
- Dispatches the products,
whichever occurs first.
Peptidera may refuse or cancel an order on reasonable grounds, including:
- Suspected fraud
- Incorrect customer information
- Payment failure or reversal
- Product unavailability
- Suspected prohibited use
- Legal or regulatory restrictions
- Delivery to an unsupported or restricted destination
- An obvious pricing or technical error
- A material breach of these Terms & Conditions
If a paid order is cancelled by Peptidera before dispatch, the amount paid for the cancelled products will be refunded, unless the payment is subject to a lawful hold or investigation.
8. Prices and VAT
The prices displayed during checkout apply to the order.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices offered to consumers include applicable VAT.
Shipping costs, payment charges and any other applicable costs are displayed before the customer completes the order.
For international orders, the customer may be responsible for:
- Import duties
- Local taxes
- Customs charges
- Clearance fees
- Charges imposed by local authorities or delivery companies
These costs are not included unless expressly stated during checkout.
Peptidera may change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.
9. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payment must be completed using a payment method offered or approved by Peptidera. Orders are normally processed only after payment has been received or authorized.
The customer must provide accurate payment information and may only use a payment method that the customer is legally authorized to use.
Payment service providers may perform:
- Identity verification
- Transaction monitoring
- Fraud checks
- Sanctions screening
- Payment authorization
Peptidera does not store complete payment-card details.
When payment is made by bank transfer, the customer must use the payment reference supplied by Peptidera. Processing may be delayed if the reference is missing or incorrect.
The customer may not improperly reverse, dispute or charge back a valid payment. This does not limit the customer’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect transaction.
10. Order Verification and Cancellation
Peptidera may temporarily place an order on hold while verifying:
- Payment
- Identity
- Billing or delivery information
- Suspected fraud
- The intended research purpose
- Applicable delivery or product restrictions
A customer may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting info@peptidera.com.
We will attempt to honour the request, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered fulfilment or has been transferred to the carrier.
Statutory consumer cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
11. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer during checkout.
The customer is responsible for checking that the delivery details are complete and correct before submitting the order.
Estimated delivery times are indicative and may be affected by:
- Carrier delays
- Customs procedures
- Public holidays
- Weather conditions
- Incorrect delivery details
- Security checks
- Events outside Peptidera’s reasonable control
Where no specific delivery period has been agreed, consumer orders will be delivered within the legally required period.
Tracking information may be sent by Peptidera or the delivery partner after dispatch.
The customer must cooperate with reasonable delivery requirements and collect the shipment from a service point when required.
12. Incorrect Addresses and Failed Delivery
If delivery fails because the customer:
- Provided an incorrect or incomplete address
- Refused the shipment without lawful grounds
- Failed to collect the shipment
- Failed to cooperate with the carrier
- Was unavailable after reasonable delivery attempts
Peptidera may charge the reasonable costs of:
- Return transportation
- Storage
- Reshipment
- Address correction
Any reshipment will normally take place only after the applicable additional costs have been paid.
This section does not apply where the failed delivery was caused by Peptidera or the carrier and is not attributable to the customer.
13. International Orders and Import Restrictions
Customers ordering delivery outside the Netherlands are responsible for investigating whether the products may lawfully be:
- Purchased
- Imported
- Possessed
- Stored
- Used for the intended research purpose
Customs authorities may inspect, delay, refuse or seize a shipment.
Peptidera will provide reasonable shipping documentation but cannot guarantee customs clearance.
Nothing in this section excludes Peptidera’s obligations under mandatory consumer law. Peptidera will not knowingly ship products where it is aware that doing so would be unlawful.
14. Transfer of Risk
For consumers, the risk of loss or damage transfers when the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, physically receives the products.
If the consumer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by Peptidera, risk may transfer when the products are handed to that carrier, to the extent permitted by law.
For business customers, risk transfers when the shipment is handed to the carrier, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Ownership remains with Peptidera until the order has been paid in full.
15. Inspection After Delivery
Customers should inspect the shipment promptly after delivery.
Visible damage, missing products or incorrect products should preferably be reported within 48 hours, together with:
- The order number
- A description of the problem
- Photographs of the shipping package
- Photographs of the product and label
- Photographs of any visible damage
The 48-hour reporting request helps us investigate the problem quickly. It does not remove any mandatory statutory rights.
Customers should preserve the packaging and affected products while the claim is investigated.
16. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, the consumer must notify Peptidera within the withdrawal period by an unambiguous statement sent to:
After notifying Peptidera, the consumer must return the product within the legally applicable period.
Unless Peptidera agrees otherwise or the product is defective or incorrectly supplied, the direct return costs are paid by the consumer.
Returned products must be packaged securely. The consumer is responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.
17. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to products that fall within a legal exception.
This may include sealed products that:
- Are genuinely unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons; and
- Were unsealed after delivery.
An exception is only applied where all applicable statutory requirements are met. A product is not automatically excluded from withdrawal merely because it is described as a research product.
Customized products, products liable to deteriorate rapidly and other legally exempt products may also be excluded where applicable.
The customer’s rights concerning defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products remain unaffected.
Further information is available in our Return & Refund Policy.
18. Refunds Following Withdrawal
Where a consumer validly exercises the right of withdrawal, Peptidera will refund the payments required by law, including the standard outbound delivery costs where applicable.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive shipping method than the least expensive standard option are not reimbursed.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days after Peptidera receives the withdrawal notification. Peptidera may withhold reimbursement until:
- The returned products have been received; or
- The customer provides sufficient proof that the products were returned,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds are normally made using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed.
19. Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Conforming Products
Peptidera is responsible for supplying products that conform to the agreement and applicable law.
If a product is damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the agreement, the customer should contact us promptly.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Peptidera may offer:
- Replacement
- Redelivery
- Repair, where appropriate
- Partial reimbursement
- Full reimbursement
- Another suitable legal remedy
Customers should not discard a disputed product or its packaging until Peptidera confirms that this is permitted.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits the statutory rights or legal guarantee available to consumers.
20. Product Information and Certificates of Analysis
Peptidera aims to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications and documentation.
A Certificate of Analysis or laboratory report:
- Relates only to the specific sample or batch identified in that document
- Does not guarantee that every separate unit is individually tested
- Does not constitute approval for human or veterinary use
- Does not constitute medical or therapeutic evidence
- Must not be separated from its report number or batch information in a misleading manner
Minor differences caused by analytical tolerances, measurement methods or updated batch documentation do not automatically constitute a defect.
Peptidera will correct material website errors after becoming aware of them.
21. Storage, Handling and Prohibited Use
The customer is responsible for appropriate:
- Storage
- Handling
- Security
- Laboratory procedures
- Waste disposal
- Record keeping
The customer must follow the storage instructions provided on the label, product page or accompanying documentation.
Products may not be:
- Used or administered to humans or animals
- Sold or represented as medicines, supplements, food or cosmetics
- Relabelled in a misleading manner
- Used for unlawful purposes
- Resold without legally required registrations or authorizations
- Marketed using unauthorized health or therapeutic claims
Peptidera may refuse future orders where misuse or prohibited resale is reasonably suspected.
22. Complaints
Complaints can be submitted to:
Please include:
- Your name
- Order number
- A clear description of the complaint
- Relevant photographs or documents
- The preferred resolution
We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable period. If more time is required, we will inform the customer about the expected response time.
Submitting a complaint does not affect any statutory consumer rights.
23. Liability
Peptidera is responsible for loss caused by a failure to comply with the agreement where and to the extent required by applicable law.
Peptidera is not responsible for loss resulting from:
- Use contrary to the product’s stated research purpose
- Human or veterinary administration
- Improper storage or handling
- Unauthorized relabelling or resale
- Incorrect information provided by the customer
- Illegal importation, possession or use by the customer
- Events outside Peptidera’s reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for:
- Intentional misconduct
- Gross negligence
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Mandatory consumer rights
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
For business customers, Peptidera’s contractual liability is limited, to the extent legally permitted, to the amount paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
This business limitation does not apply to consumers where mandatory consumer law provides broader protection.
24. Force Majeure
Peptidera is not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:
- Carrier disruption
- Customs intervention
- Natural disasters
- War or civil unrest
- Government restrictions
- Power or telecommunications failure
- Cyber incidents not reasonably preventable
- Labour disputes
- Epidemics or public-health measures
- Supplier failures outside Peptidera’s reasonable control
Peptidera will take reasonable steps to limit the consequences and will inform affected customers where appropriate.
Mandatory rights relating to cancellation and reimbursement remain unaffected.
25. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website content is owned by or licensed to Peptidera, including:
- Trade names
- Logos
- Product photographs
- Text
- Graphics
- Page layouts
- Designs
- Downloadable materials
Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and laboratory reports remain the property of their respective owners.
26. Privacy and Cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in our Cookie Policy.
27. Website Availability
Peptidera aims to keep the website available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily restrict access for:
- Maintenance
- Security updates
- Technical repairs
- Legal or regulatory reasons
Peptidera may modify website content, functionality and product availability when reasonably necessary.
28. Changes to These Terms
Peptidera may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary due to:
- Legal or regulatory changes
- Changes to our products or services
- Operational changes
- Security or fraud-prevention requirements
The version applicable to an order is normally the version accepted when that order was placed.
Updated Terms & Conditions apply to future orders after publication on the website.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
The invalid provision will be replaced, where possible, by a valid provision that most closely reflects its lawful purpose.
30. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions and all agreements with Peptidera are governed by Dutch law.
For consumers residing in another European Union country, this choice of law does not remove mandatory consumer protection granted by the laws of their country of residence.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court unless mandatory law grants the consumer the right to bring proceedings before another competent court.
Customers are encouraged to contact Peptidera first so that the matter can be resolved directly.
